Honda dies when clutch is released

I have a 89 honda accord with carburetor, my problem is, the car starts fine, although, it seems to idle high at first, but with a few revs, it will then idle down. It will idle good until I let off the clutch to start moving, then it just dies!!! Most of the time it will start right back up. The only time it seems to move is when it starts to idle high again. It shouldn't idle that high on its own I dont think. Sometimes I have to floor the acclerator to to keep it running. It will move it i keep floor petting the accelarator. But for the most part after car warms up it will not idle. Anyone with similiar problems? Any suggestions?
