Reprogramming keyless entry
Hi everyone,
Although I was able to find instructions to program a keyless entry, it didn't specifically address what I'm looking to do. Presently I have a 2006 Corolla LE that has a factory installed keyless entry. The FCC ID on the back of the FOB is GO43VT14T. When I press the lock button the lights flash, but the horn does not honk. In the daytime I sometimes have difficulty telling if the lights have flashed. As a result I've accidentally left the car unlocked, and I'm concerned about breakins where I live. I would like to reprogram the the keyless entry so that the horn will sound when I lock the vehicle. Additionally I'm hoping to do this myself since hubby has been laid off and we don't have an excess of cash for me to pay the anticipated outrageous shop fees from the dealership to have them do this. Any ideas? I tried the instructions on http://www.programyourremote.com/cla...Ad.asp?id=1241 and this only helped to program that remote for my car. My girlfriend has a 2006 Corolla with a factory installed remote entry and hers honks so I think it can be done. Thanks, Kelly |

Re: Reprogramming keyless entry
I wonder if this is covered in the owners manual? It should be if not. Sorry I can't help.
