Anyone runing 245/75R/16 tires on their TB?
Hey gang, how's it going?
My 05 TB's OEM tires are ready to be replace. They are 235/70R/16's, but I really want a bigger footprint and higher profile, so I'd like to know if anyone is runing with 245/75R/16's on theirs. If you are runing 245/75R/16's, do you still have the same insane tight radius that I love so much, or does it rub? Any advise on this size is greatly welcomed. Thanks, KidAce

The Oe tire should be 245x70x16. 245 75 is narrower and taller, not a good fit on this truck, If anything I would go one size larger than oe , which is 255 70 16's.

Re: Anyone runing 245/75R/16 tires in their TB?
Thanks for the suggestion, Max, I appreciate it, but it is the list that the 75's will offer that I'm after... unless, of course, you think it'll make my truck look ridiculous.
As for the 255's, I guess they don't make 'em in 75's, but they’re nice and wide (at least wider than the 235's and the 245's). Will they work OK (up front) or will they reduce the turn radius? Also, do you think the 70's will provide any kind of lifts to the truck? Thanks,

Re: Anyone runing 245/75R/16 tires in their TB?
no offence to max but a 245/75r16 is the same width as a 245/70r16 a 245 is a 245.. to answer your question yes 245/75r16 work just fine and u still have the same great turning radius, you can run a 255/70r16 as it is the same overall diameter as a 245/75r16 wich is only a 1/2 inch taller than a 245/70r16 and they are only 10 milli meters wider. the 75 will make a height improve over what you have now and doesnt hurt handling or performance.

that is aspect ratio, if it changes, the measurements do to, no matter how much or how little.

Correct, everyone has the answers except the right ones, there is a difference although minor.
