2005 suburban rear air shocks blown

1 week after changing compressor assembly both rear air shocks blew out . Coincidence or just age ?

if both shocks blew out ,, I would suspect that the pressure was too high ...using a pressure guage find out what the max pressure is to the shocks...what is the spec on these shocks normally 80-90 psi is the max pressures ..
