|
Got cooling fan circuit error. fan runs with fused jumper and doesn't blow fuse. Run car to temp and relay kicks on but fuse blows either immediately or a few seconds later. I even jumped the circuit from positive fuse terminal to relay output and the fuse didnt blow. Voltage is around 12.75. Resistance on the circuit is around .5 Ohms. Any ideas would be great.

So essentially you bypassed the relay? Remove the relay and jump 30/86, I'd bet there's a short in the relay.

Yes I bypassed the relay. Ok I'll check that out.
