THE BAR IS NOT REPLACED,,,,THE BUSHINGS AND LINK BUSHINGS ARE....

AUTO ZONE should direct you to the correct size ......as the bars have different diameter.....

the bar itself can crack,,,,this I have seen,,if the springs are very bad and the shocks as well the bar flxes so much it gets damaged to the point where it will snap...

Re: I Replaced My Shocks..But The Ride Is Still Bumpy

just now seeing this, the springs did make the front sit higher and i can tell a small difference, but the steering does still feel a little odd when i am turning the wheel and its coming from the front

the bushings you said to replace, are they technically called control arm bushings? because thats whats showing up on the auto zone website

If you are looking for sway bars, check out Hotchkiss brand.
I have them on my wagon (front and rear) and they really make the car corner flat. Jegs has them but they are not cheap. There are other brands also that are less expensive. Beefier sway bars are a necessary addition to almost any stock car IMO.
As far as the sway bar end links go, I would go with urethane instead of the stock rubber. They offer better steering response than rubber. Energy suspension has them and you can usually find them at pep boys or at jegs.com. They are not that expensive.

no this is the sway bar bushings and the links that hold this sway bar in place....the control arms are where the springs are held,,,you have upper and lower control arms.....on each side...

you only have one sway bar in front two bushings ,these hold the bar on each side to the frame,,,and 2 links connected to the bar ends with a long bolts and 4 small round spacer bushings..

advance auto parts moog sway bar bushings kit 2 pieces part # k6459 $16.50/////moog link kit part # k6630 $11.50..

lifetime warrantee..

MOST LIKELY the rear shocks are good..with worn springs the shocks take a beating...with the stabilizer bush/link kit you will see a big improvement..

DO NOT GET THE ALIGNMENT DONE UNTIL YOU PUT 500-1000MI ON THE VEHICLE...this will ensure that the alignment will not change as the springs WILL settle down a bit,,,so if it at first looks toooooo high don't worry it will drop...then alignment..
