What happened to the vin stickers on body panels?
As I stated earlier I am replacing my 02 wrecked Trailblazer with a late model 07-08. I have looked at quite a few one owner cars that have the vin stickers missing or not present on the fenders and hood. Car-fax shows them clean but no stickers. Did GM quit putting the stickers on the panels? FWIW, if any of these vehicles were crunched they were repaired so well that you can't tell. I have looked at both Trailblazers and Envoys and found the same thing..

Re: What happened to the vin stickers on body panels?
I looked at my TB, the fenders do not have them, the hood may under the insulation, the doors do. In most states Carfax only records total losses, flood or stolen and recovered, so ft end or other non totalled damage may not show.
