Tamiya Laquer Thinner Replacement in a Pinch?
Hey guys!
I'm wondering what thinner would be a good substitute for Tamiya Laquer thinner in a pinch? I usually try to stick with compatible products, but I'm out of the Laquer thinner and won't be able to get my hands on any for another two weeks. Thanks again!

I've used Gunze's stuff with no problems.

gunze levelling thinner works fine with TS paints (and just about everything else inc. Zero paints)
In a real pinch I imagine that automotive thinners would also work ...?

Gunze Mr. Color thinner works, and usually good quality automotive lacquer thinner will work, acetone may even work. Acetone seems to be a pretty decent universal thinner, and when airbrushing I've never had paint mixed w/acetone harm any plastic.
Tamiya's lacquer thinner was developed to make their bottled acrylics spray better than when mixed with the acrylic thinner. It works for that as well as for thinning decanted TS sprays. And it smells exactly like Gunze Mr. Color Thinner.
