Yet again a well written post by rice(er) just leaves me stunned.

Re: Do you think import tuners get unfairly profiled by police?

I for one have firsthand knowledge of profiling.I have a 2000 civic that looks exactly like tf&tf .I got pulled over supposedly because my tint is too dark, and my tailights are blacked out.I've been driving this car for years and never had a problem. At 40 yrs old I'm totally flbergasted as to why I could be stopped. The only other thing they asked about was the army division I was in(It was in plain english on the plate) The conclusion: I got a ticket for a licence plate obstruction (A BULLSHIZZLE CHARGE) and never cited for the tint or tailights! Talk about heart up for revenue!Anyway I observed an inordinate to many people gettin pulled over on FEDERAL blvd.I could only surmise that it's profiling.

You violated the law. You were pulled over and ticketed for violating the law. Ergo, you have been profiled?

And your brought up a 3 year old thread. It has been dead for three years.

Welcome to AF.com.
