Talking Cheap Magstar Racing Wire Set

I got some Magstar Racing wires for my Sc2 for about $36 at Advanced Auto. I just put them in the other day along with some e3 plugs, and I have to say, I have noticed a difference. It feels like it's got more pickup, more power, and runs a bit smoother too. I don't know how great the Nology Hotwires are, but I'm never gunna spend the $200 some to find out. These are definitely a great buy for the money, way better than the ones that were in there b4, and they look awesome, got red to go with the intake and body. Only thing is the wires are 8.5mm, so i had to cut the dividers from those plastic cable clips to make em fit in there, tight fit, I'm sure ya could figure out a way without even using them too. Anyways, here's a link to see what i'm talking about. If you're in the market for new wires, try these out

Smells like spam. Also, wires and spark plugs don't do anything for performance unless your old ones were worn out. Nology wires are most certainly a huge waste of money.

alritey, well, thank you very much for clearing all that up. No, not spam, Just thought I'd take the time to let everyone know of a pretty damn good deal, but whatever, buy the cheap crappy $15 pair of wires. Buy em, don't buy em, I could care less. But I do agree with you that'd you'd have to be insane to spend the $200 for those Nology wires.

Re: Cheap Magstar Racing Wire Set

I've had $15 wires and $1.50 spark plugs in my car for years. Take it from someone with much more than a basic understanding of electricity. Fancy plugs and wires will get you nothing but a lighter wallet. I can see buying better wires for durability in severe applications, like racing, but not for everyday use.
