as for performance, everything ive read shows that the srt8 is noteably slower than the SS

I have seen both run low 13's. They are more capable with more traction and it depends on the driver. Both have higher trap speeds.

thats right, your gonna get a lot of guys in challengers saying they killed a camero and visa versa.

there's a guy around my house that has a new skyline. that thing is pretty dang nice. i sat in one, pretty sweet. i'd still wrather pic a 99 vr4 with low miles

Im with you on that one though man. a 99 verfer or a spyder verfer. Alot af car for a reasonable sum of money, AND you get exclusivity.

We had this argument on 3si, the GTR is NOT a Skyline. The G35/37 is what a Skyline is in Japan now.

ok i just did a little research on both cars. seems like the g35 is more like a 350z then a skyline.

The G35/37 is the Infiniti brand of the 350/370Z but in Japan Infiniti doesn't exist. The G35/37 is what you would get if you went to Japan and asked for a 09 Skyline.

The current GTR is its own car. Back in the days of the R32/R33/R34 the Skyline was a base model car that was a plain jane sedan and the GTR was the top of the line Skyline.

The engine code of the GTR is VR38VETT.

For the R35 (GTR) it states it pays heritage to the Skyline by its chassis code but is meant to be a completely new car.

Parts stores wont show a listing for ball joints for a 3s. Mitsu has them listed as non servicable part and replacable with the control arm only.

There is a good thread on 3si that has part numbers of what to ask for when you go to a parts store though. I think they are for a Hyuandai Sonata.

Save money and find the thread on 3si then go to the parts store.

LMAO, I just went and looked and they want $150 plus shipping for two ball joints. I paid $90 shipped from a member on 3si when I got mine. His prices has since plummetted.

Moog ball joint part number K9855 lists for $22 each at my local Advance Auto. So again why give 3$x $150 when you can spend $44?

They are hell on ripping people off on small things. I caught them charging $70 plus shipping on Fel Pro headbolts that Advance only charges $31 for and informed the buyer. He made a stink about it in a thread he had already started and 3sx deleted the thread because they said, he was posting misinformation. LMAO. Calling them out for their gouging is misinformation now I guess.

This isn't 3si though so this post is staying.

Don't always assume 3sx is the best. There are tons of other 3s performance sites out there that can crush 3sx on their prices.
