It takes s special cam gear and they make them for the DOHC engine. Don't know if they do for a SOHC or whether a DOHC one will fit a SOHC but it is a possibility.

Buy a crane cam if you are looking for more power and AEM makes an adjustable cam gear for the SOHC neon.

Crane doesn't make Cams for Neons anymore...
And I want a BRAND NEW Cam that hasn't been used...
IDK what happened to it...
They could be lieing...

RWD neons have been done before. I am not a big fan of it. I think if you want a RWD car,then start with one.
