I own a 2000 Buick regal, owned it about a year haven't had any problems with it, it was family owned until I took ownership of it. I've had everything routinely taking care of. Just recently about a month ago when I would use my turning signal the car would die, if I put the car into neutral it would start right up again. I've had the battery, alternator and starter tested and they all tested working fine. I had a GM tech bring one of the computers and hook it up and it passed all of the tests. The only advice I've received is that it sounds like the ignition switch has gone out or has a bad wire somewhere and needs to be replaced. The car will not even turn over now, and I don't have a lot of money to fix my car but at the same time this is my paycheck that gets me to and from work and if I dont get it taken care of soon i could lose my job. I don't want to spend $100 on a ignition switch if it doesn't sound like the issue. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. I have about three days until I have to do something so let me know what you think or if this has happened to you.

Sounds like your turn switch to me. They practicality control the whole car. Sometimes you can get away with just the connectors. Cheers Stripe |
