Chris,

If you sand the base metallic color, the flakes/metallic particles will get smeared. The key to smooth paint job is super smooth primer. Make sure you sand your primer with 2000 grid from Tamiya before applying the base color.

Your Harrier looks great, just try polishing it with Tamiya Coarse, Fine, Finish and Wax. The paint job looks smooth enough, I don't think you'd need to sand it. Good luck!

Are you and plasticmodellista Indonesians by any chance?

Hey.. thanks for the tips!

I'll get my hands on Tamiya polishing kit to replace the old automotive wax. Btw, do you reckon to get those coarse, fine, & finish polishing kit? Based my own research, I believe the 'fine' one would be adequate to get the shine, wouldn't it?
