No turn nor emergency flashers

2000 Dodge caravan,no turn signals or emergency flashers. Found burnt fuse in PDC. Fuse blows as soon as I put it in. Disconnected all harness on the steering column. Still blows fuse. Disconnected the DRL/flasher module then the fuse does not blow. Where do I go from here? Please help.

Re: No turn nor emergency flashers

Might try replacing or repairing your flasher module.

replaced module, now fuse blows only when I put the right sibnal light on. Checked the green/yellow wire at front and rear, it show I have a short. Cain't see the harness to paintpoint the short. Now what?

Re: No turn nor emergency flashers

Which fuse is blowing? There are several. One fuse goes to B+ power at the flasher, the other to the sockets and ABS. If it's the later you could try disconnecting the ABS controller and see if the short disappears. All the sockets look good? Any work done just prior to this starting?

Re: No turn nor emergency flashers

The eemergency flasher fuse in the power distribution center.Work prior to this problem consisted of replacing the evaporator core.
