Unhappy Problem with the Greddy Profec b2

I've bought the profec B II and installed it. It reads the numbers but no matter what adjustment I have it set to its still the same result.. the boost just continues to climb no matter what. I also have a seperate boost gauge to try and compare it to and that just climbs while your on the throttle. I even have my settings all 0'd out to see what i get except for the gain because it won't let you set it below 5. Does anyone know what May not be right or even have a actual engine bay picture to try and compare it too?

I was told it sounds like the waste gates aren't opening ... but the hks that the guy before me had in the car seemed to be working I just saw bad reviews with it and saw the profec 2 was better.

Thanks

Sounds like you have a pinched vac line possibly.

I installed a bad MBC in my TSI and slammed the boost gauge past 30psi.

But if it was pinched wouldnt the numbers as far as the vacuum readings be really off? I mean I'll look it over but it just seems like something doesn't want to let off pressure or something... if i over boost I can feel it cut out.. or is something else making the pressure cut out instead of the controler?

No, if the vac line going to the wastegate is pnched or blocked it wont effect the boost readings. It just wont allow the wastegates to open.

OK so I'm pretty sure the hose problem is fixed... but now I can't get past 5ish psi. I know it could possibly be my settings but I adjusted them and still kind of get the same reading... and ideas. set is 30 gain is 8 and set gain is 18. Any ideas?
