I was just trying to clarify since you posted that you checked for 12 volt signal at the coil pack. Checking for power at the coil and checking for signal are two different things! A technicality yes but none the less I was just trying to make sure.

It also would have helped to post the year and engine in the original post!!

Glad that it was a simple fix and its as good as new. More often than not the strangest problems have the simplest fixes!
