02 Neon 2 liter hole in throttle body hose, whats the cause??
Does anybody know what would cause a hole to appear in the bottom of the throttlebody to intake hose? If I replace the hose with a new one, and start the car, it runs fine again without the revving or loud vacuum leak. But, without it connected to the filter box, it pulls the throttlebody towards the intake with great vacuum pressure. Is this normal? Or is there another problem that causes this ? Any thoughts are greatly appreciated!!

Hey I was wondering if you might have found out what the problem might be? I have the same issues and in the past three months, I went through 3 tubes and counting. The current one seems to be on its last legs now. any help from any one would be great thanks !
