Question speaker help plz

Hey I just got some new pioneer speakers and my friend and I installed them but the right speaker is a lot quieter than the left one. It also hisses (sssssssssssss) when I turn the volume up. My friend says its the wiring and not our crappy installation (we need conncet all the wires pretty good though ). So does anyone know what the problem might be. thanks!

If you are using factory wiring then rerun your own wires and see how that goes.
