97 Honda Accord SE Blinker Issue
The Blinkers work fine as long as I don't step on the brake. When I step on the brake the blink starts flashing very fast and when I look at the rear of the car all the lights are flashing. When I turn on the headlights the blinker starts flashing fast right away and when I step on the brake the blinker stops flashing all together. While trying to troubleshoot I heard a clicking noise coming from the dash and it sounds like it is coming from behind the glove compartment. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Sound like a bad ground somewhere.
How your battery cables look like? Sam

Battery Cables look OK. However, there is a little white acid powder on the terminals.

Re: 97 Honda Accord SE Blinker Issue
Most likely the problem is a bad ground near the trunk area. With an ohm/volt meter it should not be hard to find the problem.

Re: 97 Honda Accord SE Blinker Issue
If you get stumped, try pulling the 4 way hazard flasher, disabling that circuit. See what happens. It could be some feedback through that circuit from a wiring rub or something...
