I just bought a 92 camaro rs, with a 3.1L v6, I am having a minor problem with it(atleast i hope) When i sit at a light for 2 min or longer, the rpms drop to about 500 then go back up, but the check engine light comes on......anyone have any ideas?

Red face Re: 92 camaro help

it almost sounds like a malfuntion with the IAC valve (idle air control) but first see what trouble codes are there.
