Re: bronco 2 won't run.. got fuel ,spark and air
have you tried changing gas filter? maybe it's not getting enough gas or plugs may be fowled with gas or oil.

Re: bronco 2 won't run.. got fuel ,spark and air
no. but i have gone as far as hooking up a fuel cell after the filter just to check if it was a fuel volume problem. the plugs are new but now that you mention that i mite have slapped them in b4 i gapped em. i bought this bronco2 as is and it was said to need injectors and a high pressure pump. i swapped out the injectors but this 89 does not have a high pressure pump. i did hook one inline were the filter goes to try this theory but nothing.

Re: bronco 2 won't run.. got fuel ,spark and air
Take a 12 volt test light and put it on the coil negative when somebody is trying to start. You should be getting a blinking light if it is dim the pickup in the distributor is probably going bad.
Also check the ground wire by the computer a loose ground will cause type of problem. |

Re: bronco 2 won't run.. got fuel ,spark and air
Have a 1990 Bronco II, 2.9L. 107 K miles. Been sitting for about a year. Changed out plugs, put 5 gallons with lucas injector cleaner, 1/2 bottle, but can't get it to start. Any suggestions?

Use a can of starting fluid spray into throttle body and if it starts you have a fuel problem. Check a spark plug for spark ground it with insulated pliers holding against the block.
