99 1500 brakes
I know my rotors are warped, because I get a shudder when I brake.
The question is, where is my brake fluid going? I have to add fluid about every two weeks. The reservoir was even dry about a month ago. What do I check? |

Re: 99 1500 brakes
A common place for leaks is a line from the front to the back. It runs behind the gas tank and connects to the hose for the rear. For some reason, this line rusts bad where as the other steel lines don't. I would start looking there. You can get your hand behind it and feel for fluid.

Re: 99 1500 brakes
I just replaced all the rear brake lines and cylinders on a 99 RAM.
That is exactly( previous post) were the lines rusted through the worst. Replacing the lines was pretty simple too.
