455 origin?

i have a 1970 455 stage1 stamped sf130 onthe block anyone know how to tell exactly what model it came out of?

Do you mean you do not think the engine belongs there, what are you looking for, that was the engine in the Stage 1 for 70.

i'm sorry i mean ihave the engine only.it is in a 69 skylark now.want to know if it came out of gs,gsx,ect.

I would try googling Buick casting numbers, there are several GS type websites out there.
