door latch problem
I am having a problem closing the front driver's side door on my 93 Grand Cherokee. The latch will not always catch on the striker. I have adjusted the striker at least 5 times so I don't believe that is the issue. Has anyone else had this problem? It only happens when the temperature is below freezing, I've had no problems at all during the summer and fall months. I assume that I will have to replace the entire latch mechanism but thought I would post here first.

Re: door latch problem
Try spraying with penetrating oil several times to clean out latch and then after a few days apply a dry graphite.....worked for me. Good luck dude n keep em rolling

Re: door latch problem
Fixed the problem and sold the Jeep long ago. WD40 didn't work so I simply replaced the latch with a used one and that did the trick.
