Re: Intake leak
What year Welly? I'm picking up an '86 26' Nova II with twin 350's, so I'm really hoping fuel prices don't go too high. From what I'm told it should get about the same fuel economy as my 23' daycruiser with 454/berkley jet, which I only took out 2x last year because of gas prices.

Re: Intake leak
Intake gaskets, oil change and coolant flush are done. They also did the valve cover gaskets, and left front axle seal. $985 total.
The tech did a horrible job with the sealant. My 14yr old could have done a better job. Frickin' sealant all over the front of the block under the intake, even found a few blobs on the rad support. No leaks though. Now I just have to clean it up so it looks decent again.
