dome lights, radio, and mirrors dont work

I have just purchased a 2001 dodge ram 1500 4x4 from a second owner and I noticed that the factory stereo wiring harness was cut and removed when they put the aftermarket cd player in when I went to install another because theirs did not work there was no power to it at all, I believe that this is the is the same problem with the dome lights i checked all fuses and none are blown, please help
