Professional Car Wax Sealant?!?
Have you guys used any car wax sealants before? i saw one on ebay advertised with 3 years warranty. title reads PROFESSIONAL CAR WAX SEALANT Tired of polish? Try PTFE! 3 years warranty.
anyway, if u think the product could be a hoax, i have used their car wax before, IT IS 100% carnauba wax, and WAS NOT disappointed with the wax AT ALL So i am tempted to try their car wax sealant and so no need to polish my models for next 3 years ![]() But question is, how do i apply to car wax sealant? do i spray paint the body then apply it straight onto the paint? or (prime)+paint the body, add a layer of clear coat, sand it down THEN add the car wax sealant? any advise would be great! |

Re: Professional Car Wax Sealant?!?
Wax sealant is usually another layer of protectant, applied over top the wax. If it's done properly (professionally), it can last 3 years or more. Usually, a random orbital polisher is used for both the wax and sealant.
But if your model doesn't see many highway miles, or days in the rain, snow, direct sun, etc., just wax alone will probably do it for you. It's a bit like clay bar, or bug & tar remover- in normal use, most models won't need them.
