Anything more than a small riding lawn mower and your pushing it!

Its not so much can it pull it, the bigger question is can it stop it!

Re: Towing with a 06 Grand Caravan?

You should be Ok towing in the 1500lb range. 1500lb is what I grossed my trailer @, and I'm towing it with an 05' Caravan. I tow my daughter's quarter midget racing car + tools & supplies in a covered aluminum sled bed trailer. Towing it is not that bad at all. Sometimes I do forget it's behind me. I do drive in 'trailer' mode with it though, smooth & easy on the pedals, and leave yourself a bit more braking distance and clearance from parked vehicles.

We have a local trailer company that's been around forever, and it's where most people go for hitches, me included. I do believe places like U-haul can also supply hitches. I'm sure a good garage can also install a hitch ordered through a hitch supply company.

I had a Reese class 2 / 3 hitch installed, with a 3500lb. rating, and the wiring for a standard type four pin small trailer plug. Next a hitch receiver with a 2" ball, and I was good to go.

Safe towing!
