Just Finished Isolator Bolts Have Questions

I just finished doing the isolator bolts and I have a couple of questions. After I finished I started it up, when I worked the throttle it sounded like a rush of air at the plenum. I don't remember if it sounded like this before,am I just paranoid? It is running great and no CEL, but wouldn't the CEL go off anyway since I had the battery disconnected? Is there anything I need to do to the computer now that I am finished? Thanks for all the help guys.

Just make sure all the hoses are hooked up in the back of the intake.. I think there is 3.. 2 small ones on the passenger side.. The big one somewhere in the back if I remember correct..

Pretty sure everything is hooked up and it seems to be running fine. You don't hear any air till you work the throttle while standing over the engine.

ya, this is normal. I know I went thru the same thing myself. You get paranoid when you've just completed some work. That sound is much quieter when the hood is down. It's also like if the hood is open and someone turns the wheel you'll hear a "whosh" sound which is the engine throttling up a bit for the power steering. I'm sure you're ok if you reattached all the vac lines.

Re: Just Finished Isolator Bolts Have Questions

I performed the TSB on the isolator bolts last fall and never read anything about having to reset the computer or anything afterwards. My CEL has been happy ever since, I think you are "good to go" !!
