Re: She died again, and this time it seems final.

Well, $976 later, she made it home. Though, couple things feel odd. It feels like it wants to miss sometimes, but theres no backfire, just a tiny microscopic jolt, that wasn't there before this whole mess.

Also, going from 1st to 2nd gear takes 4 seconds know with a mild moan.

Meh, I don't know weather to be happy about electrical tape on my electrical system, or worried.

I'm confused, shouldn't a near thousand dollar repair NOT be using electrical tape? I am still worried about the car, it doesn't feel "right".

More like "Oh please let me die already." Seriously.

I hope she can put up with me a little longer..

Your paying big money for your repairs I would insist that the job is done correctly it should run properly.
As for the tape most garages use some but it depends what it is used for.
It might be used for tie wraps to hold things together.

the plugs require replacing !
the use of tape is unacceptible....the use of a loom wire covering, and a heat shrink water proof material, should be used over any wire repairs...
the wires should be soldered and sealed with the heat shrink material..If they were spliced....together for some reason....

anytime auto mechanics do wiring repairs its a crap shoot..
