Replace Fuel Filler Door

My hubby banged into the fuel filler door when filling up yesterday and it snapped off.

I want to see if I can get a replacement in a local scrap yard but can't find any directions as to how to get the broken hinge etc out, and put in a new door.

Can anyone point me in the direction of some instructions, or has anyone done this before?

All advice gratefully received as always, thanks!

That's great, thank you. We couldn't see any way to do it from the outside.

We are just trying to find a replacement now.
