engine and transmission swap
Problem: I currently have an 88 with a 7mge and a blown auto transmission.
Question: I have found a 7m-gte with attached 5 speed. I am trying to find out if the mount patterns for the auto transmission and the manual transmission are the same on the mkiii, Allowing me to drop in the new engine and trans. I am assuming the mount patterns for the two engines are the same.
