1980 1/2 ton no brake loghts

I have no brake lights on my truck I have tail lights but no brake I replaced the brake light switch but still nothing any ideas?

I'd hate to state the obvious but did you replace the bulbs?
Do the rear signals work? Do the hazards work? If the signals work but the hazards don't, then check the stop lamp fuse. The stop lamps/hazards use the same fuse.
