Reverse indicator on with headlights ('97 Camry)

Hey,
'97 Camry I4. Just started the car this morning and noticed the Reverse Gear indicator in the dash board stays on when I turn the headlights on. (Off when headlight are off)

Car drives fine, tried to wiggle with shift lever to no help.

Could it be the neutral switch? But then why would it only go on with headlights?

Any suggestions highly appreciated.

humm....same here but little different..
When i press the brakes..the reverse light indicitor lights up in the speedometer gauge. That's weird.

Check your lights, if they are working or not.

Go to an automotive store and ask them to check your charging system. They do it for free.
Check your battery cables for loose or corroded clamps.
