98 toyota camry Brake help

when i change my brakes there was 2 springs on each brake assembly that were really worn out do i really need them?

Yes, those springs apply light pressure to help the pads pull back slightly from rotor, when you release the brake pedal. I have seen many cars without them with no ill effects, but since they are designed to be there, it's best to have them. Put them back.
