Re: Chopped & Channelled Revell 32 Ford Sedan

Just a quick update on a few "bits & pieces"

Front axle : A bit of a mixture of parts - I've used the brake backing plates from the Revell T bucket together with the inner rims (yellow plastic) from the AMT 36 ford. The rims have been sprayed Tamiya TS-8 Italian Red.

Rear Axle: Due to the chanelling I've had to extend the width of the axle with plastic sprue (the stock axle pictured for comparison) and again the brake backing plates are from the T bucket kit together with inner rims from the AMT 40 Ford kit (white plastic).

Wheels & Grill: Just a pic of the completed grill - the chrome strip is BMF and I've added a thin wash of matt black enamel between the grill bars. The trim rings & hubcaps are from the T bucket kit.

Engine:
I've added the carbs & aircleaner & used the MCG Stromberg p/e detail kit for the carb & throttle lingages - not entirely happy with the results (my eyesights not what it used to be!) but it saves the carbs from looking too "bare".

Thanks for looking

Andy
