Won't start, but cranks...kind of

I just got done changing the water pump on my Millenia with a 2.5L V6, and I'm finally ready to start her back up. So I turn the key and it just kinda whines, like only the starter is running. So I check to see if the crank is turning, and it is, but pretty slowly. I have spark, but the rotor is only making about 1 1/2 revolutions per second. I tried spraying carb cleaner while I cranked, didn't help. What could be wrong???

im having the same problem with my 00 milenia , you could check the crank positioning swith , my problem it cranks like a monster but i dont have spark ,and i changed the cps , and the rotor and still nothing , do u live in jersey?
