It really helps when you put in the correct measurements for the model! I know Hiro still has big problems doing Tires correctly(and car bodies!!).

Are you sure about that? If Hiro did it, they did it for Modelers because the S27 kit is an exact knockoff of the Modeler's kit which was out way before Studio 27 made a GTR kit.

Are you making race or road car? Those are road car wheels, I thought you were doing the Race version.

Now, I'm more than a little jealous! The freedom to build any part you needed - that's SWEET! Oh the possibilities!!!

Wow, you should really work for Tamiya or some other kit manufactor, great work.
Im still amazed that after close to 15 yrs there is still no plastic kit of the F1, Its the greatest supercar in the world (only surpassed recently) and there where so many varations that a kit manufactor could have eaily produced & marketed, it just seems so profitable to me, despite the licencing costs. But thats just my 2 cents, cant wait to see what happens next.

It's coming along nicely!
What happened to the front part of the hood? It looks a bit rough compared to the rest of it.

Don't worry, it will be sanded. This part has vibrated during processing and the mill has left deep furrows. I filled these defects and milled this section again with the help of bottom support.

Re: McLaren F1-GTR "Gulf" LM'96, 1:24 Studio27

this build is excellent! I would be interested in purchasing one of your kits if you decided to make them available, have you considered making a long tail version?
