91 C1500 Starts & dies intermittedly

I have a 91 1500 with a 5.7 TBI. Sometimes the truck will start then die right away or run for just a few seconds then die and wont start until it sits for a while, almost like its flooded, then it will be fine. There is no pattern it just does it at random. The fuel filter is new, the fuel pump is a year or two old, plugs wires cap are all good TPS is new the, all coolant sensors are new. Should I be looking at the fuel pressure regulator??

I'd double check the fuel pump if it's not a Delphi/OEM and the wiring to it for good voltage and ground, then check the ignition coil, then fuel pressure regulator. Good luck!

I believe the regulator may have a bad diaphram, as you suggested ,,,the age , and others with TBI have had this issue.

let the us know how it works out..
