Error codes: P0102 Mass Air Flow (MAF) Sensor Circuit Low Frequency

I am reposting from 1999 suburban valves tapping as I ran a scan and found the following information.

P0102 Mass Air Flow (MAF) Sensor Circuit Low Frequency

P0306 Fault Cylinder G-Misfire Detected (CYL6)

P1351 Ign Coil Ctrl Circ Hi Volts

Does this indicate a bad ignition coil or something more severe. I changed the plug on cylinder six and I also changed the plug wire with another plug but the code reader keeps coming back to cylinder six.

Any info is greatly appreciated.

what is the plug wire resistance ?

well get a volt/ohm meter and carefully measure each wire then report you findings...

if you intend on repairing vehicles and other equiptment the use of diagnostic equiptment is required ....

these scanners don't fix the problem, it is just a tool to narrow down where the problem may lie....you with the proper tools then troubleshoot to find the defect....

unless you want to be like the pro's and just guess as the customer is paying for it..

I had a garage check it out and they said that cylinder number 6 has low compression. I asked what is causing it and they said they wouldn't know until they tear it down. I told them to wait as that can get very expensive and I don't have the money to cover it. I have read where it could be a valve, the cylinder or something else. I really don't have the money to do a rebuild so I am hoping someone here can guide me in the right direction.

since you are limited on funds I would buy a smaller vehicle and fix the burb when your cash flow improves...the burb is a fuel guzzler and is probably why you don't have the funds to repair..these vehicles are in my area at very low cost... get a smaller higher MPG vehicle....
