Next Toony CAR-toon, "Drift What?"
Found this great ref article about a very cool custom 61 Ford Ranch Wagon, it has great lines.
Suspension and body work made it look kinda like a G-machine, and it's powered by ol' skool 312 Y block. Going to try coloring it with the same program I used for the Suby toon. So my mind took me to the next step and I tried to "Drift" the big land yacht on paper. Not a good day to be a cone. ![]() The pencil sketch.... ![]() With the line work layer turned on ... ![]() And vector layer alone...

Finished it, but not so sure about the results.
The tire smoke just doesn't seem right to me. Might try painting it all over again.

WOW! nice job. Very cool i always love what you do. And u seemas tho u r getting better with every thing u do. if thats even possible. haha
oh maybe if the tire smoke was greyer. this induces fun feelings. does that make sense? |

GB--thanks, I try to improve with very new toon.
And, yep getting the tire smoke right is kickin' my butt. Got a nudge to try finishing the doodle a different way and did one without using color. Still haven't figured out the smoke, but like the overall look of this one the best.
