Does 1995 Bonnneville have F17 or FW2 transimission?

I am trying to buy a used transimission, and there are 2 types listed for the non super charged model. My Bonny is non super charged. There is an F17 (2.84 differential gear ratio), and a FW2 (3.0 differential Gear Ratio.)
I could not find any information on the transimission, Maroney label, or CR (Certified Regulation) label on the driver's door? Included many other types of information but no letter number combinations that included an F??
Helpppppppppp !!!!!!

Re: Does 1995 Bonnneville have F17 or FW2 transimission?

There are 3 Ratios for 1995...

2.84 F17

2.97 F79( Supercharged Models Only )

3.06 FW2( Performance Ratio, Part of a Package option )

You need to look on the Spare tire cover, the RPO label will be on the top, verify that the Vin on the Label is the same as the vin on your car... One of 2 codes should be there..

You should also see L36, and chances are FE1...
