Wheel Bearing

I'm pretty sure it's the wheel bearing. For the last 3 weeks now i've been hearing the woomwoomwooomwoom noise coming from the right side of the car. It;s up front on the drivers side. The same side that we replaced the whole axle on, so why is it doing this. I feel a very faint vibration on my clutch restor on the floor. I had a wheel bearing on my Trans Am and this one isn't as bad but how could i get this when i replaced the whole damn thing less then 2 months ago

Did you just replace the axle on the driver's side?
The axle doesn't include a wheel bearing assembly. The wheel bearing is totally seperate from the axle. You will need to replace the wheel bearing assembly. If you are interested in having 3S Motorsports do the work, call us up and we'll get you the best prices available for parts and labor.

Re: Wheel Bearing

As Steve said the wheel bearing is seperate from the axle.

The axle goes thru the wheel bearing.

Re: Wheel Bearing

Does it make the noise at certain speeds or all the time?

If you suspect the wheel bearing, get that side of the car up in the air and grab the tire at the 12 and 6 positions and pull up and down. If it moves, you have a bad wheel bearing.
