Question Changing spark plugs on a 99 Century

My 99 century needs new spark plugs, but I am not sure what I need to do to access the rear plugs. Do I need to remove anything or rotate the engine to access the plugs?

Thanks,
Fri

Re: Changing spark plugs on a 99 Century

You can replace the rear spark plugs on a 3100 V6 engine without rotating the engine forward. Just use the right spark plug removal tools. Articulating ratchet and proper size extensions. The problem with removing the dogbone engine mounts to rotate the engine forward is getting them and the engine back in the same spot to reconnect and you may damage the transmission mounts due to the stress.

Also, depending on you mileage consider replacing the ignition wires.
