1997 club wagon door locks
Door locks work sporadically and sometimes without activating switch.

The keyless entry module is located behind the left trim panel just behind the drivers seat.
This module can be replaced with a newer module (TSB 99-23-11; XC2Z-15K602-AA) that is solve the intermittent and random locking and unlocking problem, but you will have to upgrade all of the key fobs. Side benefit is better range.
