03p71 engine stalls while turning ??

please help i have a o3 p71 with 95k the problem iam having is when the a/c is off and i turn the wheel the car stalls out ,i first thought it was the power steering pressure switch (ford calls it a transducer switch) soo i replaced at $120 bux well it is still doing it and i can figure it out for the life of me i looked for any possible vacuum leaks but i couldnt seem to find any soo can somewone please help >>>>???? any help is much appreciated.....thanks shawn

i turned up the idle for a temp fix and now that thew a code that idle is too high and my mech cannot figure it out either

I had a similar complaint, it turned out to be a dirty throttle plate. I had to remove the throttle body and thoroughly clean both sides of the "butterfly". In this case, it was the pcv hose pushing too much "oil" in to the intake tube and getting alot of build up on the throttle plate. Hope this helps.

On another note, check into your DPFE (or better known as the "egr pressure sensor"), it will act up with out kicking out any codes, they're not too expensive anymore.

thanks but where is the egr pressure sensor and how will i know if its bad ??

I'll have to look into that, I just noticed the year of your vehicle, not too sure if that model has one. Lemme' check.

Any chance the IAC may be dirty and not allowing the idle speed to be high enough to compensate for the load while turning the wheel?
