89 pickup v6 IAT?

Im new to the whole toyota thing, so i got a couple questions.... The truck will start and run just fine when it is cold and even after it warms up, but when it is turned off and then try to start it back up after its been runnin for a while it wont start up again. Got a new cold start valve, new computer, new injectors, new plugs/cap & rotor, compression is good. It gets spark and everything that it needs, but it floods out when tryin to start it. The last thing that hasnt been changed is the MAF part by the airbox. Im thinkin it is the IAT sensor tellin the ecu that its -40°. My plan is to get a little resistor from radio shack(like those crappy ebay "power chips") and try to cheat it just to verify that is the problem. I just dont know where the IAT is. Can anyone point me in the right direction to find it? maybe throw out some other possibilities? thanks in advance

The FSM diagram shows it's in with the AFM, but that's all.
