Fog Light Lense Replacement

My 2003 GT has Blue Fog Lights, one lense was broken when I bought this car and I would like to replace it with another Blue one. Can anyone help me locate one?

This is my 5th Grand Prix, I also own a 97 GT Coupe, previoulsy owned a 2002, 1993, and a 1976.

Thank you,
Vince

Re: Fog Light Lense Replacement

Vince, if the lense itself is Blue, its an aftermarket part, and you may have a hard time finding one.

You might want to pull it apart and see what is in there. My money is that its a cheapo wal-mart set of fog light casings jurry rigged in there to fit.

Here's a set of "blazertech" fogs from w-body store. Note, these wont even be a direct fit without a custom bracket.

Re: Fog Light Lense Replacement

My 1st post and I messed it up.... My 2003 GT is a Limited Edition which has factory Blue Fog Lights. Guess I should have stated this. It also has a new rear spoiler, special wheels, embroidered floor mats, blue foglamps, a monotone lower fascia, unique badging and door sill plates, white-faced gauges and special seats with leather inserts and blue stitching.

Wow, I'm jealous. You should take some pictures for me. Have you tried taking it out to see if there is a part number on the back? If so, maybe if you would shar it with us, I would really like a set of blue "factory" fog lights.

OK, how do I post a pic?

I took a couple during lunch, then the card in the camera was not working, I did not look for a part number on the back.

The way I upload picturtures is to go to image shack, browse to your picture, and then click upload. Once it uploads, scroll to the bottom and click on where it says "show advanced linking" then edit copy and edit past that link to here and you'll be all set.

Re: Fog Light Lense Replacement

Hmmmm, never have seen blue ones in GP's before. Are they standard 880 bulbs?

You could replace them with 2 new clear ones and then throw in some HID's.

Re: Fog Light Lense Replacement

Hello;
I have a 94 grand prix, anyway mine were old and faded really bad. they didnt shed much light. Here,s what i did . went to walmarts, they had the same exact same shape and size of my old ones. these are blue in color. amazingly when i went to put them on, i didnt have to do any drilling or modifing to put these on.its as if they were made for these cars. the holes matched perfectly. they were $19.98 i believe for a pair. these lights are really bright. I cant remember what brand they are. Size not sure, thinking 31/2 inch.
if you go this route ,you will want to replace both lenses so that they will match. these lights are blue in color. Im sure they will cost an arm and a leg from the dealer. heck i liked them so well ,i put a set on my big rig. if you go to walmarts, look for the $19.98 price tag and blue bulbs, i dont know the brand name. hopes this helps
Don
