Minis in the snow

Hey all,

I'm moving to SF and considering a mini because A) they are a blast to drive, and B)it will be really easy to park.

My main concern is that there is a ton to do in the outdoors around SF, specifically Skiing. How does a mini handle in the snow? Do they sell roof racks for skiis, etc?

Thanks!

Shelby

Hi. I don't know anything about SF, but I have a MINI and love it! You might try Northamericanmotoring.com if no one gives you any suggestions. Its one of the biggest MINI forum/sites out there.

Sorry, forgot to answer one of your questions. Yes they sell roof racks for skis or anything else you would want to pile on top or inside. You would be surprised at how much you can fit in one.

Re: Minis in the snow

I actually passed a mountain ski resort while driving the new MINI Cooper S Convertible in Austria last week, the weather was very cold (down to -6) and roads very twisty and challenging.
